Solo sets by local musicians celebrating revolutionary women in music. Jules is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist that lives and breathes music - it has always been the center of their life! She has had the pleasure of performing with Graham Nash and Tommy Shaw with the Contemporary Youth Chorus, and is proud to call themselves a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's house band, The Mechanics. They began writing music under the name Mother Culture in early 2023, and look forward to sharing their love of music with you through some originals and covers highlighting Revolutionary Women on a lovely Friday afternoon!

Revolutionary Women: Solo Sets w/ Maíra Vianna

Solo sets by local musicians celebrating revolutionary women in music. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Brazil. Maíra Vianna emerges onto the music scene with a distinctive voice, original compositions and new versions of the traditional and celebrated Brazilian Songbook. She adds Indie, Rock and roll and Pop to the familiar Brazilian rhythms, creating a whole new experience, for her and for the audience. Vianna was accepted by the voice department of Berklee College of Music. She graduated from the Berklee Music jazz Program at Cuyahoga Community College, followed by a Degree in Record Arts and technology. Her new album “The Fool” is available in all major platforms.

Come listen to our Artist in Residence jam outside at the Rock Hall. Tunes are free and no RSVP is required. Joe Brown is a songwriter, multi instrumentalist, and producer from Hudson, Ohio. Beginning his musical career as a tubist in the middle school band, Joe has since then explored every area of music available to him. Most significantly, as the Covid pandemic rang in his senior year, he spent his time self-learning the guitar as well as recording. Now attending Baldwin Wallace University, Joe remains a busy artist, releasing singles, collaborating with friends, and performing with various groups like the "BW Beatles" and his own "Joe Brown Band," which recently had its headlining debut at the Grog Shop.

Karina Eleni is a Los Angeles native, but a Cleveland girl at heart (due to her huge Greek family who all live in Ohio). Karina’s passion for singing and songwriting began at a very early age-she’s been singing as long as she could talk. Her songs are a bold blend of Pop, Rock and Jazz. Currently a rising senior at NYU, Karina performs her music all over New York City at venues like: The Bowery Electric, The Delancey, 54 Below and City Winery to name a few.

Solo sets by local musicians celebrating revolutionary women in music. Piper Robbins is a non-binary artist/music historian based in Cleveland. They studied Music History at Miami University and now work as a Fan Engagement Specialist at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Piper’s primary instrument is the viola but they also love to sing and try new instruments whenever they have the chance. Piper is greatly inspired by a spectrum of artists from Steely Dan to Tchaikovsky to Kali Uchis. Besides working at the Rock Hall, they enjoy oil painting and creating mixed media art works, playing tennis, and researching composers and other musical topics.
