Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Museum, PNC Bank Expand Relationship Through End Of The Decade
PNC’s Sponsorship Includes Naming Rights For New Stage
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum announced that PNC Bank has expanded and extended its support through the end of the decade, including the addition of naming rights to a new stage that will host concerts and other high-profile events.
The PNC Stage is a key feature of a new performance and events venue envisioned as part of the Rock Hall’s transformative 50,000-square-foot expansion recently approved by the Cleveland Planning Commission.
The new indoor PNC Stage, which will be located directly to the west of the current Rock Hall, will host musical performances, including those by various Inductees, and ongoing community education programming. This includes the world-renowned Toddler Rock program, support for which the PNC Foundation has provided for more than a decade through its PNC Grow Up Great® signature philanthropic initiative.
PNC Grow Up Great® is a $500 million, multi-year, bilingual, early childhood education initiative to help prepare children from birth through age five, particularly underserved children, for success in school and life. Thousands of local preschoolers have been impacted through PNC’s support.
“Music has the unique power to connect, engage and inspire communities, neighborhoods and generations,” said Pat Pastore, PNC regional president for Cleveland. “We are thrilled to build upon our relationship with the Rock Hall, while helping drive considerable regional economic impact.”
In addition to the PNC Stage, the bank will continue to support the social media content series “Inductee Insights powered by PNC” and community engagement events, as well as “Rock Hall Live, powered by PNC,” the Rock Hall’s summer concert series. Inductee Insights powered by PNC engaged 2 million viewers in 2022 alone, reaching people in northeast Ohio and across the U.S.
We are truly grateful for the continued partnership with PNC, one of our longstanding and earliest supporters,” said Greg Harris, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame President and CEO. “This important project for Northeast Ohio is only possible because of the generous support of PNC and our other donors and sponsors.”
Additional details around the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum’s expansion will be released in the coming weeks.
