With the announcement of the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominees last week, we are excited to announce that the Fan Vote is back and with new ways for fans to cast their votes including SMS (after a one time code verification) and Google and Apple sign-in services, minimizing the steps for casting votes and continuing the option of voting for up to seven Nominees daily instead of the previous five. Additionally, returning is the very popular “I Voted” graphic, which is updated this year to include an exponential number of image combinations that can be generated by voters.

Since the Fan Vote first started in 2013, there have been over 50 million fan votes cast, with 66% of the Fan Vote ballot (41 of 62) earning Induction in the same year, and 88% (45 of 50 unique nominations) eventually earning Induction. In 2024, six of the top seven vote getters earned Induction, on par with previous years like 2022, when the entire top five were inducted – the only time that has happened, and with the entire top eight earning Induction that same year.

This year’s fan vote is being brought to fans by Alliant Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the country, 100% digital with a focus on wowing members and disrupting banking norms.

Fans around the world participate in the Induction selection process through the Fan Vote. Through April 21st, fans can vote online every day at vote.rockhall.com. The top seven artists selected by the public will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to determine the 2025 Inductees.

Inductees will be announced in late April. The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place this fall in Los Angeles, CA with date, venue, and on-sale information to be announced alongside this year’s Inductee class.
