2026 Nominee

P!NK's fusion of rock, pop, and radical honesty produced one of the most enduring catalogs of her generation — and a live show that remains unmatched.

P!NK is one of the most explosive, emotionally fearless vocalists of her generation. With over 135 million records sold, P!NK is a global superstar and one of modern music’s most formidable live performers, selling out arenas and stadiums around the globe since her breakout 2002 tour. Her songs land like a punch and linger like a confession – fusing rebellion with radical honesty, self-acceptance, and resilience in a voice that shakes the rafters and breaks hearts in the same breath.

Coming of age in Philadelphia’s club scene, P!NK was performing by her early teens – first as a dancer, then as a backup singer for a local hip-hop group. At 14, she was writing her own material and singing on stage weekly. After working with two all-female R&B groups that didn’t gain traction, P!NK signed with LaFace Records as a solo artist, breaking through with 2000’s Top Ten hit “There You Go.” Her debut album Can’t Take Me Home went double platinum and earned her Billboard’s New Female Artist of the Year. Craving more creative freedom, she teamed with childhood idol Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes for M!ssundaztood (2001), the album that cemented P!NK’s pop-rock identity. Driven by Top Ten singles “Get the Party Started,” “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” and “Just Like a Pill,” it sold over twelve million copies worldwide and became one of the best-selling albums of the century.

In the twenty-five years since, P!NK has remained unapologetically herself – shattering expectations with gravity-defying live shows, soaring above the crowd while singing her hits. She delivered sharp social and political commentary in songs like “Dear Mr. President” (2006), “What About Us” (2017), and “Irrelevant” (2022), and explored new musical terrain with the folk duo You+Me. Her outspoken activism for LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, animal welfare, and global humanitarian causes earned her the People’s Champion honor at the 2019 E! People’s Choice Awards.

With three Grammy wins and twenty-one nominations, fifteen Top Ten Billboard hits, billions of streams, and a record-breaking 2023-24 Summer Carnival tour, P!NK stands as a powerhouse of emotional impact and artistic integrity – her influence heard today in the commanding pop-rock voices of Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and Chappell Roan.
