Main Exhibit Hall - Roots of Rock, R&B Dropping a dynamic downbeat on postwar rhythm & blues, Louis Jordan set the stage for the rock and roll revolution that followed. His songs not only supplied a good deal of the slang of rock and roll, but also directly influenced many of its progenitors. This sax was one of his main instruments.
