See Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm, Reign of Z and more live in concert as we kick off the newest exhibit featurette, "Women In Metal: You Will Know My Name" Friday, July 10th.

Spotlighting key female risktakers and icons of the metal genre, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s newest exhibit featurette, “Women in MetalYou Will Know My Name, will open at the museum on July 10th. This exhibit celebrates those who push boundaries and challenge the status quo to make meaningful, pioneering efforts in the metal genre.  

“Women In Metal” will open to the public on July 10 with a celebration featuring Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm. Hale and Hottinger will do a short acoustic set on the outdoor PNC Stage, followed by a slate of metal bands: Storms Within, MAXILLA, and Reign of Z. 

About Lzzy Hale

Not only does Lzzy Hale front record-breaking GRAMMY® Award-winning platinum rock band Halestorm, but her voice also echoes throughout popular culture at large. Since co-founding the band in her teens, she has quietly cemented herself as a powerhouse vocalist, deft and dynamic guitarist, and influential force at the forefront of a faithful fanbase.

About Reign of Z

Reign of Z is a hard rock band that originated in Pennsylvania. The band formed in 2018, with original members Zosia West and Stephen Berg. Despite the challenges of being an independent band, they persevered. Grayson Prince and Eric Forder have joined the band and are continuing to maintain the momentum and energy that Reign of Z is known for. Reign of Z’s first national tour was with Combichrist, King 810 and Heartsick. They have been fortunate enough to perform on stage with a number of talented musicians such as September Mourning, Hinder, Marc Rizzo, Josey Scott of Saliva, Motionless in White, Hatebreed, This Wild Life, and many more.

Storms Within is a female-fronted hard rock and groove metal band from Erie. Known for their high-energy live performances and emotionally charged songwriting, Storms Within has become a staple of the regional metal scene, sharing stages with national acts while building a loyal following throughout the Northeast.
