Rock and Roll Night School: A Spotlight on Chuck Berry

Monday, October 22: 7 p.m.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and Case Western Reserve University will honor Chuck Berry during the 17th annual American Music Masters® series this October.

Roll Over Beethoven: The Life and Music of Chuck Berry, a weeklong celebration, will tell the story of one of the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. Berry has had a lifetime of brilliant musicianship and has inspired nearly every rock artist to date.

Monday, October 22 at 7 p.m. - Rock and Roll Night School: A Spotlight on Chuck Berry in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater on the 4th floor:

Rock Hall educators will examine the scope and impact of Chuck Berry’s career, while focusing on select songs that spotlight Berry’s skills as a songwriter and guitar player.  This event is free and reservations are not required.  Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  This event will also be streamed live on rockhall.com.

The Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction exhibition opened in May 2013 and celebrates the Rolling Stones’ incredible contribution to popular music. Through the use of artifacts, film, text and interactive technology, generations of music fans from around the world have the opportunity to get up close and personal with rare items from nearly every aspect of the Stones’ extraordinary career.
