Join the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as we celebrate the life, music and extraordinary legacy of Dolly Parton. From her unmistakable voice and groundbreaking songwriting to her larger-than-life personality and lasting impact on generations of artists and fans, Dolly Parton created a legacy that extends far beyond any one genre or stage. On 9 to 5 Day, we’ll honor the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022 Inductee through the music, stories and cultural impact that made her one of the most beloved figures in music history.
- Membership Table (10am – 1pm): Members stop by to connect with our Membership team and spin the wheel for free swag giveaways
- Film (on loop all day): From the Vault – view highlights from Dolly Parton’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Forest City Theater, Level 0)
- Educational Presentations (11am & 1pm, 10-15min program): “Duets, Divas and Dolly: The Power of Collaboration” (Beatles / Rolling Stones exhibit, Level 0)
- Live Music (12-2pm): Rock Hall house band, the Mechanics, will take the stage to perform a set of country-inspired classics (Exterior Plaza PNC Stage)
- Fan Activity (while supplies last): Post your memories of Dolly on our tribute wall and pick up a free Dolly Parton button (In Memoriam Gallery, Level 3)
- Trivia Contest (2pm): Test your Dolly Parton knowledge at the Rock and Roll Game Show trivia contest; prizes awarded to winners (Foster Theater, Level 4)
- Induction Moments: See Dolly Parton’s inductee signature, watch Induction clips, and listen to career-defining hit songs (Hall of Fame, Level 3)
- Mixtape Takeover: Enjoy a curated playlist blasting throughout the museum featuring Dolly Parton’s greatest hits, deep cuts, and fan favorites
- Additional Country Music Artifacts: Explore artifacts from legendary country and rockabilly artists, including Chet Atkins, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Sarah Evans, Wanda Jackson, and more (Level 0, various exhibit locations)
$2 of every ticket sold will be donated to the Literacy Cooperative, Cuyahoga County’s distributor for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The Kids Book Bank will also be at the Rock Hall collecting books people would like to donate.
PARKING: Paid meters and parking lots are available around the museum on East 9th St., Erieside Ave., Alfred Lerner Way (in front of FirstEnergy Stadium) and at the Great Lakes Science Center. You can also use these links to park in other downtown lots, reserve your parking spot in advance or to take public transportation. All sales final, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is canceled.
