Rock & Roll Hall of Fame launches new and improved education platform today with free resources for educators around the world
EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FEATURING ROCK HALL INDUCTEES CAN NOW BE FOUND AT: EDU.ROCKHALL.COM
Currently reaching over 1.4 million students around the world, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is excited to announce the launch of a new and improved version of its popular online education site: EDU.ROCKHALL.COM. The site, first launched in 2019, offers educators around the world free, unlimited access to premium education modules covering multiple disciplines at all grade levels.
The new site will offer a host of new features, improved user experience, and enhanced capabilities including teacher forums for teachers to connect with each other and with Rock Hall educators; brand-new, exclusive content and learning modules featuring Rock Hall inductees; improved search functionality; interdisciplinary content (social studies, ELA, music, social-emotional learning, STEAM, and more); playlists; activities, essays and much more. This robust educational content is currently offered in both English and Spanish. New features and Spanish language content will roll out on the new site in the coming months with all features to be live in time for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
“Incorporating feedback from our teacher community, the new site is very intuitive, and easy to use with the hope of providing an exciting resource for teachers and educators who are looking to add a music education component to their classrooms,” said the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s VP of Education and Visitor Engagement, Jason Hanley. He continued, “We are excited to see how new features like the community forums will allow teachers to better connect with us, and each other, and share the amazing rock & roll education that is happening in schools around the world.”
Education is a key component of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s mission. As previously announced, the new expansion of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will include the state-of-the-art Howley Family Student Center, which will be used as the Museum’s primary educational programming center and feature studios, stages, instruments, and recording and mixing equipment for interactive learning. A gift from the Howley Family will also be used to create the “Howley Rockers Program,” which will provide free onsite and online education programs for school-age students nationwide, led by Rock Hall educators.
