As with the ever-evolving nature of rock & roll, you might find us tuning up & improving our set list with new exhibitions & displays. This digital exhibit guide features all currently accessible exhibits and experiences.
It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock & roll, sometimes you have to start at the bottom. Level 0 is home to the Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall. Inside, the story we tell spans generations from rock’s earliest artists to those newly emerging musicians of today. In addition to the thousands of items on display, our exhibits feature films, video, interactive kiosks, reading material and, of course, plenty of music.

Level 1 is where we’ll scan your pre-purchased ticket to start your rock & roll journey. You can also “Shop Around” in the official Museum Store, “Eat to the Beat” in our All-Access Cafe, catch a show on the Klipsch Stage, or sneak backstage for a glimpse into life on the road in our Backstage Stories exhibit.
We’re getting the band back together! The Garage is fully opened and ready to rock. Fans can pick up real instruments, learn to play, and jam with friends.

Known as a staple of the Rock Hall for over 20 years, Legends of Rock, an exhibit featuring handwritten drafts of hit singles, performance outfits, and instruments from some of history’s greatest concerts, now takes over three floors of the Museum. Ranging from rhythm & blues, jazz, and folk rock to heavy metal and hip-hop, this exhibition represents a myriad of musical genres and highlights some of the world’s most iconic acts both past and present.
2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Bon Jovi will unveil a one-of-a-kind, full-floor exhibit spanning four decades of the band’s career along with never-before-seen artifacts from each of the band members.
