Assist the Library and Archives with archival arrangement, description and preservation. Participate in archival processing, such as arranging the papers of record company executives, describing manuscript collections, entering data into an archival information system, creating EAD finding aids and MARC records for archival collections, and perform basic preservation work on paper-based materials. This volunteer should have previous experience in a library and an interest in archives (archives, library science or public history degree preferred), music background is beneficial.
