Carrie Underwood backstage interview at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions at the Barclays Center in New York City on April 10, 2014. Carrie Underwood performed in tribute to 2014 Inductee Linda Ronstadt and talks about how Linda Ronstadt influenced her singing and style as a performer.
"So many incredible inductees tonight. Linda Ronstadt has definitely had an impact on my music and has been involved different genres in music. I mean, she really is the kind of person that I feel like we all strive for our careers to be like. Well I'm kind of in just about everything Linda Ronstadt tonight. I'm singing "Different Drum" myself and then, it's kind of like through out the act we kind of add more and more people and we all end up singing together; so were doing everything from "Different Drum" to "When Will I Be Loved" and "Blue Bayou” and "You're No Good." It's such a cool, cool thing, and it's so cool to look around me and see all these wonderful strong women, and Glenn Frey. I can't believe that I'm actually getting to stand on that stage."
