Exhibitions Intern

The Exhibitions Intern will gain hands-on experience working under the guidance of the Museum's exhibitions staff on special projects and daily tasks associated with developing, preparing, installing and maintaining artifact-baed exhibits at the Museum. Specific duties may include the following:

  • Assist with exhibit preparation, including painting, label-making, framing, mount-making
  • Assist with exhibit maintenance, including dusting, cleaning and polishing Plexiglas
  • Assist with installation of graphics, casework and artifacts
  • Other duties may include filing, organization administrative exhibit materials and data entry


Candidate should have prior experience in handling historic artifacts, familiarity with museum installation techniques and be skilled in the use of hand tools.

Needed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
