Gallery Talk: Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones' 1978 Zemaitis Electric Guitar

With a resume that includes playing in bands with Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart and, most recently, the Rolling Stones, two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Ronnie Wood is among rock and roll's most admired guitarists. In this video, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum curatorial director Howard Kramer explains why Keith Richards called Wood "damn good glue for the band" and shares the story of Wood's custom 1978 Zemaitis electric guitar, which he played on the Rolling Stones 1978 tour. The guitar is part of the Rock Hall's "Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction" exhibit, on view through March 2014.
