Astronaut Michael Good of Broadview Heights, Ohio, along with four other crew members who flew aboard space shuttle Atlantis to the International Space Station in May, will visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on July 13.
Joining Good are Commander Ken Ham, Pilot Tony Antonelli and Mission Specialists Garrett Reisman and Steve Bowen.
The crew will share highlights of their mission at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum at 1:30 p.m. on July 13. They also will tour the Museum and present Rock Hall President and CEO Terry Stewart with items that flew with the crew on the space shuttle. The items demonstrate the significance of music in space flight, from morning wake-up calls to each astronaut's personal choice of music to listen to while in space. These items include a copy of the lyrics for Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze" and the lyrics for Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A."
Please note that a limited number of seats are available to museum guests on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the event will be streamed live on the Rock Hall's website at www.rockhall.com. Please check this page on July 13 for a link to the live stream.
