Thousands of Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) students will display their talents at the 13th annual Rock Your World with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS and Math) Festival, on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. This much anticipated event, which is the result of a partnership between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes Science Center and CMSD, is a one-of-a-kind, innovative, hands-on arts and science celebration held inside and outside both museums.
Over 2,000 students from more than 40 CMSD K-8 and high schools will showcase their talents in dance, theatre, music, visual arts, hands-on science and much more to the Greater Cleveland community during Rock Your World. Choirs, vocal solos, dancing, jazz performances, African drumming, string and wind ensembles and other performances will take place throughout the day on seven stages between the Rock Hall and the Great Lakes Science Center. Attendees can also catch a sneak peak of this year’s All-City musical, Footloose, on the Rock Hall’s Main Stage. The festival will also host a visual arts show and a STEAM School Showcase, featuring the original work of K-12 students.
