The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to welcome Carl Palmer (from Emerson Lake & Palmer and ASIA) for a Legends Series interview on Saturday, October 8 at 1 p.m. in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater. Palmer will be in Cleveland to kick off his U.S. tour and to debut his new film The Solo, a 35-minute movie that portrays the drum solo as a work of physical art, and features Palmer behind his drum kit. In addition to The Solo, a special collection of film clips featuring Palmer performing with The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Emerson Lake & Palmer, ASIA and his own Carl Palmer band will be shown. 

Following the screening, Palmer will be interviewed by the Rock Hall’s Director of Education Jason Hanley. Questions will be taken from the audience at the end of the interview. Palmer will participate in an autograph signing following the event.  This event is free with a reservation. Seating is limited.  RSVP information is as follows:

Carl Palmer is a drummer’s drummer. A consummate professional, a brilliant technician and a dynamic showman, he has thrilled listeners and audiences alike for nearly four decades with some of music’s most memorable bands including Atomic Rooster, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Asia and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Along the way his dazzling speed and mastery of the drums, combined with his infectious stage personality, have secured for him a respected place in history as one of rock and roll’s great drummers.
