Community Festivals Brought to you by:
Key Bank

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to welcome back the Latino Heritage Festival, an annual event that celebrates the rich Hispanic culture and its musical traditions. This event will take place on the Main Stage of the Rock Hall lobby on Sunday, August 26th from Noon to 3 p.m. and includes performances by Grammy-nominated artist Bobby Sanabria and Cuban Tres Guitarist Frank Lopez. The Latino Heritage Festival is FREE, however paid admission is necessary to tour the Rock Hall exhibits.

The Museum’s community festivals, sponsored by KeyBank, offer opportunities for Cleveland’s diverse ethnic communities to become more acquainted with the Rock Hall and the range of music styles and cultures it celebrates. The Latino Heritage community festival is a kick-off to Latino Heritage month, celebrated September 15-October 15 every year. In tribute to its rich music and culture, the festival will feature an array of musical talent that will provide the soundtrack to an afternoon of lively entertainment:

·    Bronx Walk of Fame inductee, native Nuyorican and five-time Grammy® Award nominee Bobby Sanabria will reach deep into his Latin roots with bomba, plena, merengue, danzon, mambo, salsa, and song on top of his brand of Latin Jazz for an afternoon of music and dancing “en clave” on stage at the Rock Hall. Sanabria is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston and has performed with Mario Bauza, Dizzy Gillespie, Mongo Santamaria and more.
·    The afternoon will also feature a tribute to the late Roberto Ocasio and his Hispanic Heritage, featuring the artistic expression and expertise of talented guitarist, tres, and cuatro performer, Frank Lopez.

In addition to live music, JiBARO Gourmet Food Truck will be at the festival selling Caribbean, Spanish and Latin food with world spice fusion.
