The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to announce that the English Beat will perform at Chef Jam 2011 on Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. at the Rock Hall. Cleveland’s top chefs will serve up specialties inspired by their favorite band or musician and dress like the rock stars they are featuring. The evening will also feature special performances by the Naked Cowboy, the Cream of the Crop All Stars and Cleveland’s own Abbey Rodeo with special guest Jim Bonfanti of the Raspberries. This event is presented by Maker’s Mark and sponsored by KeyBank, Time Warner Cable, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Ohio Natural Gas and Event Source.
Spend an evening sampling culinary delights prepared by the best of the best in Cleveland at nearly 20 different food stations. Maker’s Mark will be conducting an infusion challenge inviting chefs to create a special dish that utilizes their bourbon. The winning chef will receive a trip to the Maker’s Mark distillery in Louisville. Celebrity judges will include Food & Wine editor Daniel Gritzer, Chef Koren Grieveson of Chicago’s avec restaurant and the Food Network’s Iron Chef judge and food writer Akiko Katayama.
Tickets are $65 and on sale now. Each ticket includes samples of all the dishes offered at each food station during the event, as well as Great Lakes Brewing Company beer, wine, artist performances and tours of the Museum’s exhibits. Tickets are available by clicking here or at the Rock Hall Box Office. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Rock Hall’s education activities and the Ohio City Farm.
