Capital Support

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is finishing a $35 million Capital Campaign to build and operate our new Library and Archives facility. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has received significant financial support from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation to start the campaign, but we need your help in reaching our goal and fully realizing the mission of the Museum.

Library and Archives

The new Library and Archives will open at the Cuyahoga Community College’s Metro campus in downtown Cleveland. The 18,000-square-foot facility will be housed within the college’s new Center for Innovation in the Arts.

The new facility will complement the work that is already being done by the Museum’s Curatorial and Education Departments, with exhibits, programs for school children, lecture series, adult education programs, and a college-level course at Case Western Reserve University – all focused on studying the cultural and social impact of rock and roll. The Library and Archives facility will be a one-of-a-kind academic center where researchers, scholars and music fans from around the world will come to understand the roots of rock music and the impact that it has made in our world.

Endowment Support

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is the nonprofit organization that exists to educate visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll music. It carries out this mission both through its operation of a world-class museum that collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets this art form and through its library and archives as well as its educational programs. A gift to Museum’s endowment helps ensure the Museum’s financial stability into the future.
