The new rockhall.com homepage

Big news today! We are proud to tell you that the newly-designed rockhall.com website is up and running. On any given day, more people connect with the Rock Hall via the website than in any other way. Our mission, as you know, is to educate visitors, fans and scholars about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll music. The new website brings that to life.

This new site  encourages users to go deeper within the site, to stay longer on the site and to connect with us. It will be filled with exclusive artist interviews, induction videos, photo galleries, songs, transcripts of induction speeches and merchandise.

The redesigned site is fueled by a new content management system in which Rock Hall staffers can use one interface to post more quickly video, blogs, photo galleries and other content to different pages.

Amazing things happen here in Cleveland. Legendary artists tell stories you’ve never heard. New artists are discovered. People behind the scenes share different perspectives and history is both documented and made here.

The website and digital strategy was provided courtesy of a generous grant from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation in New York.

From this point forward, the history inside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame can now be shared with the world.

Check it out and Rock On!

Well guys nice place but would be wiser if Neil Diamond was there.Open up a lot of others to want to go see your Museum if you stop shutting Neil Diamond out. How about it?

Wow! What a fantastic design! This really brings Rock and Roll to life. Love the videos and the personal touch for all of the artists! I just wrote about the design in my blog:

Luther Dixon, in my opinion, should be inducted as a non-performer, posthumously. Luther Dixon wrote songs for the Shirelles, Chuck Jackson, B. B. King, Elvis Presly, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, The Crests, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, and many others. Luther Dixon contributed to their successes with timeless ageless hit song material, a journey that took him six decades to complete. It would be a great misfortune if Luther Dixon is not inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame posthumously. Sadly, Mr. Dixon passed away October 22 of last year, never realizing the breadth of his many accomplishments. I don't believe there's a soul alive who couldn't recognize a song or melody that Luther Dixon had written. Thank you. John Hill

Why is KISS not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame? I do believe that they qualify.

Is there a valid reason why Chicago has not been inducted?

I can't believe that Carole King still hasn't been inducted! All the songs she and Gerry Goffin wrote so many sixtie's classics like Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, The Loco-Motion, One Fine Day, and You Make Me Feel Like A Natrual Woman. Not to mention, her Tapestry album, which Rolling Stone placed at #36 on their list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Steve Perry...the greatest VOICE ever in rock history. His talent, stage presence, soul, songwriting ability and influence on others make him a top candidate in my opinion. Please consider Steve soon. LLCoolJ????????
